We are in search of a Cerner Training Program Manager for a Southern U.S client to develop, coordinate, and manage training strategy for Cerner implementation. This person will be responsible for the project management of EHR training programs, from development to maintenance, in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs). The Cerner Training Program Manager will also conduct follow-up studies of all completed training, manage departmental budget, coordinate the help desk tier 1 support schedule and oversee all tier 1 support tasks. This is a contract to hire consulting role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledgeable with training, mentoring and performance monitoring techniques
Effective training and presentation skills
Excellent verbal, written and management skills
Proven track record of team leadership and building teams through past EHR training experience
Basic consulting and change management skills
Initiate, implement, and support change within the organization; is proactive in removing barriers or accelerating its pace
Embraces technology and other innovative solutions to increase workflow efficiency and quality
Long-term care experience a plus
