Role Overview/Job Description:
Seeking a contract-to-hire, contractor to fill a need for a Database Administrator II position.
Under the direction of the Manager Business Intelligence and Database Services, the Database Administrator II creates and supports multiple databases. Ensure databases are properly maintained and meet performance SLA metrics.
Conducts business requirements reviews and independently formulates logical statements of business requirements. Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response. Performs a broad range of work independently. Identifies and documents problems and notifies others as appropriate based on problem escalation procedures. Determines root cause and resolves moderately complex problems. Makes critical contributions to managing and solving complex, and/or large technical and business challenges. Receives technical guidance only on aspects or areas outside primary technical specialty. Reports progress to supervisor according to project plans or based on employee's discretion. Decisions could positively or negatively affect multiple departments. Work is guided by broad operating policies and guidelines pertaining to the department, and approved plans. Normally subject to managerial direction, progress revie

Required Skills / Certification(s):
1 Epic Clarity ETL and Database administration
2 Epic Caboodle Database administration
3 Clarity ETL Certification highly preferred
4 Demonstrated proficiency in writing SQL
5 Demonstrated proficiency with Epic Compass ETL Tool
6 Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
7 Advanced technically proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
8 Advanced working knowledge of the analytical database operating system
9 Windows server administration experience or training
10 Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on your chosen platform (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle), Windows Server, and IIS
