Open Position: Epic Bridges Consultant

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Work with third party application subject matter experts in the interface design and development with their individual applications
Epic interface configuration
Development of interface documentation and support materials
Prove Epic Bridges subject matter expertise as needed
Assist in developing timeframes and tasks required for Epic interface design, conversion, implementation and support

Required Skills and Experience:
Epic Bridges Certification Required
In depth experience working with HL7 transactions
Background designing, programming and testing clinical and revenue cycle application interfaces
Proven experience in Epic interface configuration
Experience working as part of a large implementation team
Proven analytical and issue resolution background

This Consultant position, within the MEDITECH Practice, will be focused on providing services related to MEDITECH, PHA Module. The Consultant is responsible for providing high-level consulting to our hospital and academic medical center clients. 

Consults will work with client to define solutions to needs or problem areas, and determines scope of investigation required to obtain solution. Solutions may include installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in methods and practices, or redesign of products or services.

Prepares written deliverables for client and Beacon management as defined in project scope, while complying with engagement standards, status report submission procedures, deadlines, and client folder specifications/requirements.

Other engagement specific responsibilities may include IT planning and needs assessments, system selection and implementation, project management, upgrade coordination and testing, custom programming, application support, design or build, interim management, business operational analysis and work flow redesign. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Must possess the ability to understand the integration of applications and their impact on business process and operations. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of clients? staff. Must be forward thinking, able to meet project deadlines, possess high level of energy and professional acumen, and be client service oriented. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Must exhibit a dedication to quality, reliability and resourcefulness.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, listening, and verbal and written communication skills are required.
